Captain is an exceptional gelding with a standout pedigree. He stands 15.1 and weighs 1250 lbs. Genuine 007 was an AQHA performance champion, multiple world champion in heading and calf roping and all-around champion. And out of an own daughter of Docs Hickory. Captain is a strong gelding with lots of eye appeal and good bone and feet. He is sure footed and uses his hind end naturally and is a big stopper. Safe for anyone to ride and rope on. He has been used at brandings and used to gather and treat.
Captain is very athletic. He is barrier broke and hauls well. He has a strong face-up, scores good, and fits a saddle well. He has competed at a rope horse futurity and scored well under the judges. He has an impressive stop and has been competed on in breakaway by young girls as well as open level ladies.
In the team roping he has earned money in jackpots and rodeos and has been competed on by senior and #3 to open ropers. He is the same with time off and gets along well with other horses. Under blemishes - A couple superficial marks on the back of his fetlocks that had been there long before we got him. Have never been a cause for concern.
