Consignors- WYO Ranch Horse & Stock Dog Sale

Thank you for your interest in consigning to the WYO Ranch Horse & Stock Dog Sale.

Our 2026 consignments are currently full. We welcome inquiries for the 2027 sale beginning October 1, 2026.

The WYO Ranch Horse & Stock Dog Sale is an invitational sale focused on offering sound, honest, ranch-ready horses that meet the expectations of today’s buyers. Please review the following requirements prior to applying for consideration.

Horse Eligibility Requirements
Horses must be 3–12 years of age at the time of sale

Age will be verified during the on-site veterinary visual screening (grade and registered horses alike)
All sale horses must pass a visual veterinary inspection, including evaluation of:

  • Teeth (age verification; cribbing)
  • Eyes
  • Structural correctness
  • Overall soundness (must travel soundly on all four feet)

All consigned horses are required to participate in:

Trail Course (including but not limited to):

  • Crossing water
  • Bridges
  • Trailer loading
  • Saddling and bridling
  • Picking up feet
  • Crossing logs
  • Opening and closing gates while mounted

Head and Heel branding

Horses should arrive in sale-ready condition — clean, fit, and properly prepared for advertising and presentation.


Photo Requirements
Professional-quality images are required. We reserve the right to request replacement photos if quality does not meet advertising standards. Submissions that do not meet requirements may result in removal from the sale.

You may submit up to 12 photos.

Required images include:

  • Side profile — saddled and bridled (no halter)
  • Headshot — saddled and bridled, showing front shoulder
  • Conformation photo — side profile, bridled (no saddle, no halter)
  • Action photo under saddle or in an event setting
  • 🚫 No watermarks permitted.
    Images are used in print and digital advertising, and many advertising partners do not accept watermarked photos.


Video Requirements
Minimum of one full-length YouTube video (no Shorts)
Up to five videos may be featured on the website
Videos should clearly represent the horse’s abilities and temperament.


Registration Papers
If the horse is registered:

Papers must be in the consignor’s name
Original registration papers are required & Signed transfer papers must be sent to the sales office at time of consignment.

This ensures a smooth and timely transfer for buyers following the sale.


Important Dates
October 1, 2026 – Consignments open for 2027 sale (Please do not call before this date)
December 15, 2026 – Consignment fee, signed contract, photos, videos, and horse information due
Original registration papers and signed transfers must be submitted to the office by this deadline

Beginning October 1, 2026:

If approved, an invoice for the consignment fee will be emailed
Upon payment, consignors will receive access to the website portal to upload:

Sale Policy
This is an invitational sale.
The Clark Management Company Sale Committee reserves the right to refuse entries that, in its opinion, do not meet sale standards. Sale management also reserves the right to refuse entries from individual consignors.
